Jennifer Simmons
VP, National Alliances
As Vice President of National Alliances, Jennifer is the chief liaison with JMFA’s industry partners and other trade organizations and groups. Additionally, she works closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategic promotional plans to educate further how the company’s services positively impact their member financial institutions. Jennifer’s direct experience in the financial services industry includes serving in leadership, business development, and banking operations roles, contributing to her keen understanding of community banks and credit unions’ needs and challenges.
Before joining JMFA, Jennifer was the chief membership officer with the Maryland & DC Credit Union Association. She also stepped in as interim CEO while the association’s board explored a merger opportunity. Her professional background includes management and operations experience with Signal Financial Federal Credit Union (formerly Washington Telephone Federal Credit Union) and several other community financial institutions. Jennifer began her career as a teller and rose through the ranks to gain proficiency in strategic planning, compliance, board governance, product development, marketing, training, and member outreach.
