Staff Spotlight: Jennifer Peoples Promoted to VP of Product Management

In her new role, Jennifer will supervise the Product Development, Implementation, Software Support, and Information Technology departments to ensure the technology support needs of both JMFA’s internal and external customers are anticipated and exceeded.

After joining the company in 2001 as an Engagement Consultant, she has strengthened the company’s client-focused culture by building client engagement and program implementation strategies to ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency on every project. As Director of Implementation, Jennifer streamlined program operations processes and assisted in developing the client training curriculums for the Privilege Manager CRM® webinar series and the JMFA Academy. She also was involved in product enhancements for Privilege Manager CRM software and authored the program’s functionality and reporting guide.

Prior to joining the JMFA team, Jennifer was a Project Manager for a firm that provided consulting in global information technology, financial operations, business process re-engineering and training.

What does leadership look like to you?

Listening, partnering and mentoring my team, but being ready and able to make the final decision and stand by it. Supporting my team and removing obstacles to ensure their success.

Who or what has been your most significant influence?

Watching JMFA Founder John M. Floyd start a company from nothing and build it to an industry leader.

What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

Invest in yourself with frequent training and find a good mentor and coach. And, believe in your abilities.

If you could learn something new, what would it be and why?

I want to learn how to play chess to improve my strategic thinking abilities further. And I would like to learn how to speak Spanish fluently to better communicate with others.
