Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, consultative Regional Director responsible for business development and new client acquisition in the Southeast, including Florida and Georgia. This position reports to the Vice President of National Sales.
The Regional Director will develop relationships with community bank and credit union leaders, identify business challenges and opportunities, and connect prospective and existing clients with solutions across the ADVANTAGE portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of financial institutions, a disciplined approach to territory development, and the ability to lead complex, consultative sales conversations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead consultative sales activities to achieve assigned sales goals
- Develop and execute prospecting and territory sales plans
- Build relationships with executive leaders and key decision-makers at community banks and credit unionsIdentify the performance challenges and strategic priorities of prospective and existing clients
- Connect clients and prospects with relevant solutions across the ADVANTAGE portfolio
- Conduct discovery meetings and deliver presentations
- Develop opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, industry relationships, conferences, and association events
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals and contracts for our products and services
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and sales support teams to advance opportunities
- Maintain proactive communication with prospects and clients throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, activity, and forecast information within the company’s CRM
- Transition new clients seamlessly to internal teams, providing clear direction and support
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong consultative selling, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive and senior-level financial institution leaders
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into relevant solution opportunities
- Analytical and financial aptitude combined with strong conversational and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in managing a territory and sales pipeline
- Politely persistent, self-motivated, and accountable, with strong follow-through
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative environmentAbility to coordinate travel, meetings, presentations, and territory activities effectively
- CRM experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office® Suite
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum of two years of sales experience or training
- Minimum of five years of experience in financial services, community banking, or the credit union industry
- Experience selling consultative, technology-enabled, or professional services solutions is preferred
- Direct experience working with community banks or credit unions in Florida and Georgia is highly preferred
- An established network of financial institution or industry relationships within the assigned territory is a plus
Location & Travel
This is a remote position that requires consistent travel throughout the assigned territory. In-person prospect and client meetings, presentations, industry conferences, association events, and scheduled company sales and staff meetings are essential components of the role.
